Clear Aligners

Clear Aligners

Clear aligners such as 3M Clarity, Angel, Invisalign or Spark are custom-made devices that allow teeth to be aligned. Patients are responsible to wear the clear trays constantly, except during meals and oral care. These trays are changed weekly or every two weeks throughout the treatment. Clear aligners are removable and thin. Therefore, they rarely interfere with speech.

Once a 3D scan of your teeth has been taken, Doctor Manh carries out the digital simulation of your treatment. Trays are then made by a laboratory.  Each tray is capable of moving one or more teeth, up to 0.25 mm per tray. Wearing your trays gradually moves the teeth to the desired position.

Without the orthodontist taking control of the simulation, the treatment is random and unpredictable. Thus, it should always be kept in mind that aligner brands such as Clear Correct, Invisalign or Spark are only plastic supports to move the teeth. Without the strategy that your orthodontist puts in place, your unguided treatment will not be successful.

How much does it cost?

Each individual is different and only a proper personalized diagnosis during an orthodontic consultation will allow us to give you the right pricing. What is more important than cost is the options you have to fix your smile. Only once you have made the right choice will the pricing be right.

It is essential to understand that a true orthodontist specialist will recommend the most suitable tools for aligning your teeth and correcting your jaw. This implies that your doctor should be proficient with not only clear aligners, but also with various orthodontic appliances (brackets, expanders, springs, mini screws, etc).

Aligning your teeth does not happen in one day. For this reason, we are able to offer you interest free monthly payment for your orthodontic treatment. It is more affordable than you think!

Did you know?

Sometimes, braces are needed even with aligners, especially for difficult tooth movements or lack of compliance. Orthodontists, with their additional years of training in a speciality program, can easily switch between aligners and braces and vice versa, while general dentists may not have this flexibility. Always check if your dentist can use brackets when necessary to optimize your treatment.
